Disney posts teaser trailer for live-action Beauty and the Beast
We’re not big fans of teaser trailers for movies, as they show very, very little related to the film. Give us the first official trailer (or, if it’s universally panned, the second), in which there’s more to see.
Such is the case with the first teaser trailer for Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, a live-action version of the 1991 animated classic. We get to hear a few of the voices (Ewan McGregor’s Lumiere and Ian McKellen’s Cogsworth), and we get a very short look at Emma Watson’s Belle. Otherwise, it’s just a bunch of scenery, as well as the haunting music from the beginning of the movie. But we’ll take it.
The film will hit theaters on March 17, 2017, so there’s still a lot of time between now and then to get excited about seeing other peeks at the star-studded cast, which also includes Emma Thompson (Mrs. Potts), Luke Watson (Gaston), Dan Stevens (The Beast), Kevin Kline (Maurice) and Josh Gad (Le Fou).
